PLUG is a group of people in the Phoenix, Arizona, USA area who get together several times a month. We have various meetings in several different formats all with the common goal of educating the public about the Linux operating system.  No knowledge of Linux is presumed or required, although most members are running Linux in some application.

PLUG membership is no cost and open to anyone. We also welcome users and fans of all Free Software and Open Source Software such as GNU and BSD.

To join just attend a meeting, subscribe to a mailing list,  or join our IRC channel. We recommend the Discussion mailing list for those new to PLUG or Linux.

PLUG holds several meetings per month in different locations around the Phoenix valley. Where the members desire and create, we have meetings.

A purely volunteer organization, everything happens in PLUG because someone stepped up and made it happen. If you have something you'd like to do, let the group know about it. You are sure to find something help with and we love more help.
