O.K., I've called around and found a deal with @home for my cable internet
service (IDSL is all that is available in my area).  Now a question about
Ethernet cards....I don't have one!  Looking at the prices, there seems to
be an incredible range.  Keeping in mind that I'm new to this world, what is
the best price/performance on a card that will support Linux?  Also, my lady
uses windows on her computer.  Will there be any problems hooking up both
computers if I use Linux?
