Hi all,

Well, today I bit the bullet and went out and bought a new Adaptec 2906
card. 

Linux seems to recognize the card.  I/O port information:

	I/O-Range		Used by
	de00-debe		aic7xxx

	Bus 0	device 9	function 0
	
	SCSI storage controller Adaptec AIC 7850 (rev3).
	Medium devsel. Fast back to back capable.  IRQ 11
	Master capable. Latency=64, MinGut(?)=4. Max lat=4
	IO at 0xde00 [0xde01]

Device information says:

I can't get xscanimage to work, either at the commandline or by icon.

scanimage -d gives me: scanimage: no SANE devices found .

How do I get sane to recognize the scanner?
