it appears that the i810 chip is supported in XFree86 v4.0.3,
so if you install

pkg_add ftp://ftp.freebsd.org/pub/FreeBSD/ports/i386/packages-4-stable/All/XFree86-4.0.3_3.tgz

X *should* work OK on your FreeBSD system.
