well,
I purchased a new HP series 8000 cd-rw drive last night and got ide-scsi module to see it.
However, thats as far as I have been able to get.

everytime I try to write a cd session, I get the following error:

it does not matter which of the several cd burner packages I use on here, all of them yield similar results.

if anyone has a suggestion that can help me here, I'd like to hear from you.
