I do not consider it rude as cvs can be used to manage multipul
revisions, etc.  Even while I may make code changes and make suggestions
unless I am actually part of the development team I prefer *not* to have
the responsibility of write access.  What if I introduced a wopper of a
bug?  Then just think about a hacker installing an insidious trojin in
the bowles of say a kernal mod...

I look at it this way.  Somone asks me questions on cvs, I ask questions
on multi platform GUI's...  If everyone plays nice it all works out in
the wash.
