Here are some details: The Nodework Project's design goal is to provide a virtual machine infrastructure to replace individual desktop systems. The first step is to provide a diskless client based on hardware similar to the ThinkNic (www.thinknic.org) or MediaGX (www.supertek.com.tw) platforms. The diskless client is similar in concept to the Linux Terminal Server Project (www.ltsp.org), but relies more on the local hardware for processing. The presentation will cover the hardware and software requirements, the process of creating a diskless client and the current state of this project. Please, check the http://asulug.asu.edu for other upcomming events, Monika
