I dont know if I agree with that.  I will say if you come from Red Hat or 
some other distribution you will look for things that dont exist in debian 
and have lots of questions.

But if you are a computer science type and have no linux experience, I 
dont think debian is really any harder to learn than say red hat or 
mandrake on the whole.  (ie you would have lots of questions regardless of 
distribution)
