I run RedHat 7.1 on a Compaq Armada 1750 that I got off of eBay for $500
and everything's worked perfectly for me.  I even have a NetGear wireless
LAN adapter that I use for connecting to my network.

Easily.  Go to Fry's or check out any major vendor such as Dell, HP, IBM,
Gateway, etc.
