not exactly a surprise. M$ doesn't rewrite the security risk prone areas, just seems to patch individual events of each issue. Still leaves them somewhat vulnerable to variations of the same bug. Then again, some non-M$ vendors may do the same, but hopefully just for the short term till a long term security fix can be implemented.
