As a work around I would just find the local server I use which was news.phnx3.az.home.com, but now I recieve a message from @home news servers when I connect using the fully qualified host name to the effect of "please enter "news" for your news server settings". The Linksys firewall is just the standard one port Cable/DSL router from Frys Electronics.
