Run your own jabber server :P We've got one running here on our nat, the only problems I had were getting the icq transport to work (which I still haven't fixed, namely because from what I understand, they stopped developing ip_conntrack_icq or whatever the ipchains/tables module was), and getting the aim transport to work (you have to download a zip of the extracted install from a long forgotten beta version). Other than THOSE two things, jabber / aim / yahoo / msn / irc work *great* through jabber =P Jabber also supports sms messaging (for cell phones and pagers), and you can even plug it in to an LDAP server for message and buddy list archiving. - Josh Reynolds On Thu, 29 Nov 2001, Bob George wrote: > Doh!
