Please explain then why Linux doesn't have trouble with hardware in the 
fashion M$ does ?

If it wasn't a Microsoft thing then you wouldn't see so many people bitching. 
I work with hardware day in and day out and it's a real joy to work with 
Linux. When I come to a Microsoft box I just shudder cause I know I'm going 
be stressed out trying to get windows to accept new hardware. That's of 
course after rebooting upteen times.
