Good luck with this. I've tried twice and had so many dependencies that could not be resolved I gave up. These went about 4 layers deep and the rpm they supplied were the wrong versions. I was lurking on their discussion (Ximian) and it sounded like Evolution and Ximian are a 50/50 gamble on RH. People either loved it or cursed it. Seemed that most who loved had xamian.org in their email address. To be fair, my boss is running it on RH7.2 and loves it. I'm going to wait for KDE 3 which went into beta testing a little over a month ago. ----- Original Message ----- From: "Carl Parrish" To: ; Sent: Monday, January 21, 2002 8:36 AM Subject: Evolution 1.0 Okay I'm tring to upgrade to Evolution 1.0 got the tar ball but while trying to configure it I get an error saying my db.h version isn't high enough. So I went to rpmfind.com to try to find a more recent version. (That's what I do with .so files) doesn't seem to know what I'm talking about. Any suggestions on how I can get a more to date version of db.h? btw I'm running RH 7.2 Carl P. ________________________________________________ See http://PLUG.phoenix.az.us/navigator-mail.shtml if your mail doesn't post to the list quickly and you use Netscape to write mail.
