I had to get used to the idea when the R.L. Stine series (forgot the name)
became a craze at my kid's elementary school a few years ago. Suddenly
yo-yo's were out, and books were in. Same with Harry Potter. I got him
reading Tolkien, but he just won't go for the Gibson yet.
