Indeed, Cox still has linux newsgroups, and Cox internet newsgroups,
but no Linux Cox internet newsgroup- which is something that Cox could
provide in lieu of technical support. 

An indication of the Cox mentality- in order to access the newsgroups,
I first had to select menu options indicating whether I use Windows or
Mac and what version of Outlook I use. The appearance given is that
you need to be using either Windows or Mac with Outlook in order to
access anything through Cox, although in truth Netscape Communicator
for Linux works just dandy.
