Hopefully I'm coherent enough to make some sense :).

Granted I have finished the install about 30 minutes
ago (took a little over 4 hours), I am really digging
gentoo. When you first boot up you find yourself with
a clean but minimal file system. With some of the
other distributions I felt swamped by all the software
dropped on the hard drive. You can also feel the
difference in speed. The Installation was a breeze.
The documentation is really good (although I did catch
one error that had you writing a file to an umounted
file system). All in all it was pretty enjoyable.
