You can set defaults (group, shell, home directory location, auto-add to smbpasswd) and more. There isn't any direct support for gentoo in webmin (I just checked the very latest update - v 0.96) - someone is going to have to go through and confirm the locations of all the 'conf' files, sysv stuff etc. in the gentoo distro and then webmin would bring the centralized administration control panel benefits to gentoo.
