Thank you for all the responses to my home network question. I am very impressed with all of you and you willingness to help. I am afraid that most of your suggestions are over my head at this point. I am just wanting to use my linux box as a router and connect to my windows box to share the DSL connection. I am not ready to start writing scripts or compiling anything. What I know about Linux I have learned on my own and have had no help up until this point. I suppose I could just spend the 80 bucks for a linksys router but I would rather learn to take advantage of linux. Please tell me (remember I am a complete newbie) if there is an easier way. I will be at the next Mesa meeting if anyone would be wiiling to talk with me about this. Thanks again, Mike ----- Original Message ----- From: To: Sent: Saturday, May 04, 2002 12:15 AM Subject: PLUG-discuss digest, Vol 1 #2204 - 10 msgs > Send PLUG-discuss mailing list submissions to > plug-discuss@lists.plug.phoenix.az.us > > To subscribe or unsubscribe via the World Wide Web, visit > http://lists.PLUG.phoenix.az.us/mailman/listinfo/plug-discuss > or, via email, send a message with subject or body 'help' to > plug-discuss-request@lists.plug.phoenix.az.us > > You can reach the person managing the list at > plug-discuss-admin@lists.plug.phoenix.az.us > > When replying, please edit your Subject line so it is more specific > than "Re: Contents of PLUG-discuss digest..." > > > Today's Topics: > > 1.
