find just about any savy Linux person in your area, and offer to:

  1) help them with something (possibly maintianing web sites, etc.),
  2) buy them a beer, coke, dinner,
   ...

the best way to learn is to watch over someones sholder while they are
working.

Or are you looking for formal classes/trainign?
