FWIW, I think that a good search engine aimed into the various plug-*
archives would be the most useful tool we could offer.  There's a bunch
of great information that's already been posted.  If someone found an
entry with information related to what they need, they'd also have the
contact information (email addr) of a person likely to have more
information on the topic.
