The file to get the base emacs loaded was emacs-20.7-17mdk.i586.rpm. Once I loaded that file I was able to load the X11. >>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>> \_ SMTP quoth Robert Bushman on 6/30/2002 20:26 as having spake thusly: \_ \_ On Sun, 30 Jun 2002, David A. Usually (in RH, at least) the -el- is for emacs-lisp files which you don't really need as an average user. My guess is that the base package would be emacs-20.7-17mdk.i586. FWIW, on my rh7.2 system I have: emacs-20.7-41-i386 emacs-nox-20.7-41-i386 emacs-el-20.7-41-i386 emacs-X11-20.7-41-i386 David ________________________________________________ See http://PLUG.phoenix.az.us/navigator-mail.shtml if your mail doesn't post to the list quickly and you use Netscape to write mail.
