The way I see it there big guy is that until you, or someone with time on their hands develops the Java code for the website, you have just about three options :
1. If you're concerned about the 2MB limit, purchase more room on the server from Satan.
2. Switch to a REAL mail service. - or -
3. Unsubscribe to the newsletter.
Seeing as how we are trying to increase our numbers rather than decrease them, I consider the 3rd option a lame one. I filter my mail. Sometimes I like hearing someone elses' opinion. Either way, to you and "Dr. G", I wish you all the luck in the world, but Win 9x, Win2K, XP...etc; a Linux / Unix they will never be......no matter HOW much money you wish to keep giving to Uncle Billy. Why do you think the bulk of the internet is run on Linux / Unix machines and so many MAJOR companies are getting behind them with so much marketing force ? It's time for "King Gates" to find something else to do with all his "hard-earned" money.
I am not anti-microsoft. I am not for their crappy lisencing techniques, but as far as I can tell I have never had a problem with Win98se. The main problem with Windows is memory managment. If you just edit some ini files and screw around with the registry and make sure you know where all your ram is going. Then you get at least half a gig of ram and turn off Virtual Memory. In all my days I have never had a crash with Win98se. Computers are like cars, the more you love them and take care of them the better they work. The reason I want to learn linux (newbie) is because I am getting a kick ass server soon and I want to put linux on there. But no one however, answered my question. Is it possible to put a forum or java chat on the web page?
