Okay i am stupid, i turned off the OS and went to change settings :) from looking in /dev it appears my parallel port is /dev/parport0 I ran chgrp users, chown bob, and chmod 666 on /dev/parport0 ... when i try and start windows in vmware it says it cant open /dev/parport0 permission denied ... any ideas?
