Recently, my favorite e-mail address (this one) made it onto someone's
"we opted you in without your permission" list.  One company was sending
me 2 spams per day.  Today marks my second consecutive spam-free day. 
Here are my resources:

1.  spamcop.net - even the free account works well.

2.  Federal Trade Commission.  Believe it or not, the FTC wants your
