I don't think the sentence with the word "deplore" is approriate. 
Whereas it may be true, in a press release it makes us sound like a
bunch of radical extremists (which may also be true) and that is an
image that does not help our cause.  Also, Microsoft dropped the capital
S about 16 years ago.
