Vic, Perhaps consider setting up forums? Mailing lists are more real-time, but forums allow better subdivision of topics and archiving of messages. Just a thought. I'd be willing to help out with administration of the web site. Not a web designer, but I can help with anything else. The link is to: http://lists.PLUG.phoenix.az.us/pipermail/plug-discuss/ I doubt Linus has any concept of the BREADTH of historic impact his little project has grown to have! This archive displays messages posted to this list from October 1904 thru December 2002. Wow. Is there no way that messages could be stored by when they ARRIVED at the mail server, instead of what dates the senders' mail clients happened to THINK it was when they posted the message? I was thinking of putting a button beneath the [Plug Presents] button on the web site's navigation bar, saying [Eavesdrop on PLUG Discussion List]. But the mis-organization and arbitrary splitting up by incorrect dates is sort of off-putting. And I don't see any practical way to search the archive. That would be a great thing to add if we should get into dynamic content.
