You may want to look at the GIAC certifications www.giac.org. I like that you have to prove what you have learned by writing a paper and taking 1 or more tests. I did go through the GSEC not too long ago and was pretty good and the course gets revised all the time. Worth a look and a good place to start. Good luck. Larry FYI I have one CISSP book I believe it is the most expensive book I have ever bought just so you are aware of the cost. -----Original Message----- From: Sundar [mailto:linux@esaravana.com] Sent: Tuesday, October 29, 2002 8:16 AM To: plug-discuss@lists.PLUG.phoenix.az.us Subject: Re: CISSP Certification Thanks George and Gary for your feedback. What do you guys think about SSCP? As far as the price tag, my company can foot upto $5500/ year for membership(s) and training. So, I am not concerned about that. Cheers!
