I'm forming a new company to build a biodiesel plant in the metro =
Phoenix area. The computers will run RH8.0 and be physically isolated =
from the Internet, but that isn't the reason for this post. (I labeled =
it OT :-)).
I don't know if we have any qualified investors on this list or not, but =
several people here have been very helpful to me, so I wanted to make =
this available.
Biodiesel is dramatically better than petroluem diesel in terms of air =
pollution, which is very important here in Arizona. It's made from =
vegetable oil, it's a renewable fuel, it supports the US economy instead =
of OPEC's economy. More important, it's the only "green" fuel that's =
gotten any market acceptance so far, because it's the only one that =
requires no changes to existing equipment. And it's just at the point =
of becoming commercially viable.
This project won't be of interest to traditional venture capitalists. =
It's not "Invest a thousand today, make a million tomorrow, get out next =
week". This is for people with a long-term committment to the biofuels =
industry.
