Interesting! Changed D Link to 192.168.5.2 and the laptop updated to 5.100 with a 5.2 gateway. Have net access; can also ping 192.168.0.10, the linux box! Tried to ping from the linux box to the laptop. No go. But then I noticed it was as if I was pinging from eth0, the external interface, and not eth1. So do I have an issue on the linux side now? Now I have to get my ftp on the linux up again! pete On Mon, 2002-12-30 at 11:30, Darrell Shandrow wrote: > Hi Kyle, > > Yes! That's excellent advice as well!
