Run newlist. In my setup that's /var/mailman/bin/newlist $listname > /var/mailman/bin/newlist newlist Enter the email of the person running the list: pfleming@notreally.com Initial newlist password: Entry for aliases file: ## newlist mailing list ## created: 02-Jan-2003 root newlist: "|/var/mailman/mail/wrapper post newlist" newlist-admin: "|/var/mailman/mail/wrapper mailowner newlist" newlist-request: "|/var/mailman/mail/wrapper mailcmd newlist" newlist-owner: newlist-admin Hit enter to continue with newlist owner notification... Copy the above into your /etc/aliases file and run newaliases > newaliases /etc/aliases: 51 aliases, longest 49 bytes, 708 bytes total Then edit httpd.conf and add the line: Include conf/httpd-mailman.conf Which should (the file) already be there... if not... here is my file.
