I have found that almost any printer in the office that is HP works great. You can find replace in cartridges at Re-Ink America (www.reinkamerica.com). Although I am not sure where to buy, you can find used printers at a cost probably half of $75. Currently, I am using my Tektronix Phaser 850 from my Linux printer with little configuration. It prints in every program and browser that I have tried, but it's a bit expensive for the home use! : ) Kimi Adams On Thu, 2003-01-09 at 15:30, Jim wrote: > I am looking for a printer for a client. > > Requirements: > 1) Works well (i,e. easily configured) with Linux > 2) Inexpensive (< $75.00) > 3) Inexpensive black ink replacements > > Anyone have a suggestion? > -- > Jim > > Freedom is all we really want > > --------------------------------------------------- > PLUG-discuss mailing list - PLUG-discuss@lists.plug.phoenix.az.us > To subscribe, unsubscribe, or to change you mail settings: > http://lists.PLUG.phoenix.az.us/mailman/listinfo/plug-discuss >
