Thanks for the reply Ted. I have changed the splash image using that
FAQ. When GNOME loads however the background color behind the image is a
blueish color. I would like to change that to black. Simply changing the
default background color using "Background Preferences" does not solve
this so it must be set in a text file somewhere. I just don't know which
text file the values are being read from.
