Basically anything that uses the USB Mass storage profile will work.=20
But that's kinda hard to identify, I used two principles which worked
for me when buying mine:

1) Look for the cheapest one, the more expensive the more they're trying
to differentiate their product with some special feature that requires
something different.

2) If it include a driver disk, you don't want it.  All the other OSes
also support the USB mass storage profile, so they don't need drivers.

Personally, I bought the CompUSA generic compact flash reader.  It works
great.
