Am 23. Jul, 2003 schw=E4tzte Austin Godber so: > Did you get $2 for em or end up giving them away. I was really curious > about that. Since the crowd was not specifically interested in Linux (it > not being a linux event) I was wondering how willing people would be to > cough up dough. We brought in $24. I'm heading for .mx now :). We also gave away quite a few and had some get picked up as 'freebies' before we rearranged the table. Not a problem. I expected that some, but if we'd've just put them out we'd've gone through the entire stack in a couple of hours and not had 'em for the battle bots kids ( and their schools ) at the end. We also have 10 people who were interested enough to shell out $2 = ( at least one gave us a $1 tip as well :). It's the group willing to take a serious look that we want to hit anyway. > How many were used? I don't know how many we went through. We have quite a few left, though. > PS - Just thinking about ASULUG. I'll get some back to you. ciao, der.hans --=20 # https://www.LuftHans.com/ http://www.AZOTO.org/ # "The illiterate of the 21st century will not be those who cannot read an= d # write, but those who cannot learn, unlearn, and relearn." -- Alvin Toffl= er
