I.e. `ntpdate clock.via.net`. That's what I use at least but that's because I've installed ntpd. There are many other solutions besides ntpd such as using rdate with a time server. I'm sure others on the list will be happy suggest their setups too. --=20 Bryce C CoBryce Communications --=-n10StzHV4knJSyz51VR2 Content-Disposition: inline Content-Description: Forwarded message - Re: Clock Content-Type: message/rfc822 Return-Path: Delivered-To: mail.bryceconet.plug@localhost.cobryce.com Received: from localhost (localhost.localdomain [127.0.0.1]) by cobryce.myvnc.com (Postfix) with ESMTP id A37FDAD652 for ; Sat, 9 Aug 2003 22:54:51 -0700 (MST) Envelope-to: plug@bryceco.net Delivery-date: Sun, 10 Aug 2003 01:54:19 -0400 Received: from 66.103.137.65 by localhost with POP3 (fetchmail-5.9.7) for mail.bryceconet.plug@localhost (single-drop); Sat, 09 Aug 2003 22:54:51 -0700 (MST) Received: from [68.14.243.59] (helo=pluglist.macrosift.com) by sh2.1-sh.com with esmtp (Exim 4.20) id 19lj9n-0004nO-8d for plug@bryceco.net; Sun, 10 Aug 2003 01:54:19 -0400 Received: from lists.plug.phoenix.az.us (plug [127.0.0.1]) by pluglist.macrosift.com (Postfix) with ESMTP id E76911A72EA; Sat, 9 Aug 2003 23:08:04 -0700 (MST) Delivered-To: plug-discuss@lists.plug.phoenix.az.us Received: from medusa.veiinternet.com (ns3.vei.net [66.242.100.3]) by pluglist.macrosift.com (Postfix) with ESMTP id 81DC31A72E9 for ; Sat, 9 Aug 2003 23:07:31 -0700 (MST) Received: from 1cust195.tnt29.lax3.da.uu.net (unverified [67.219.49.195]) by medusa.veiinternet.com (Vircom SMTPRS 2.1.258) with ESMTP id for ; Sun, 10 Aug 2003 01:53:45 -0400 From: Michael Havens To: plug-discuss@lists.plug.phoenix.az.us Subject: Re: Clock User-Agent: KMail/1.5.2 References: <200308041057.AA17957016@mail.ev1.net> <1060494010.13221.93.camel@BryceCo1> <1060494288.13219.95.camel@BryceCo1> In-Reply-To: <1060494288.13219.95.camel@BryceCo1> MIME-Version: 1.0 Content-Type: text/plain; charset="iso-8859-1" Content-Disposition: inline Message-Id: <200308092258.11064.bmike1@vei.net> Sender: plug-discuss-admin@lists.plug.phoenix.az.us Errors-To: plug-discuss-admin@lists.plug.phoenix.az.us X-BeenThere: plug-discuss@lists.plug.phoenix.az.us X-Mailman-Version: 2.0.13 Precedence: bulk Reply-To: plug-discuss@lists.plug.phoenix.az.us List-Help: List-Post: List-Subscribe: , List-Id: Main PLUG discussion list.
