My first introduction to a *nix was with Thurman's
Intro to Unix course.  I found 95% of the things I
learned in that class worked with linux also.  That
was when I first installed linux, and I was able to go
home and do everything on the linux box just the same.
 Thurman is a great teacher, also.  We even had Der
Hans in as a guest speak, which gave me the intro. to
this group.  If the Advanced Unix course is any thing
like the Intro. course I would definetly recommend it.
