It looked to me as if finding a leader to organize this install fest was
difficult. The next time around it might be easier to recruit someone if the
is a "plan" available for how to organize one of these things.

My suggestion is for the leader to make a list of requirements or
responsibilities they had while organizing this installfest (sort of an
"InstallFest How-to"). This list could then be used next time through. I'm
thinking more people would be willing to do this job if they knew what to
expect from it.
