FWIW, my first LTSP adventure used GNOME. The Red Hat 8.0 flavor. I kept running out of memory when I shouldn't have. Per the LTSP list folks, GNOME seems (they suspected) to have a memory leak with LTSP. I think this is only with LTSP. I've gone to KDE with no problems. I want to stick with vanilla Knoppix for the CD-based distro. It'd be nice to have them put GNOME back in. We need 2 GB CDROMs :). ciao, der.hans --=20 # https://www.LuftHans.com/ http://www.AZOTO.org/ # Knowledge is useless unless it's shared. - der.hans
