If your machine is freezing up on you, it's likely that you have other
problems.  Under Linux, an application may crash, but it shouldn't
take down your machine.  FWIW, I'm running Mozilla and my machine has
been up for 75 days.  (Mozilla has crashed several times in that period
though...)
