--0-420212418-1064269397=:35875 Content-Type: text/plain; charset=us-ascii Thanks Deepak, I've read about using the standard modem commands while your phone is connected to your computer via serial. I talked with a guy who used http://bitpim.sourceforge.net to "mount" his cellular phones file system using a cable bought at RadioShed. BitPim is a program that allows you to view and manipulate data on cell phones. This includes the PhoneBook, Calendar, WallPapers and RingTones, as well as the embedded filesystem (for expert users). BitPim only works on LG phones, according to the docs. I was hoping to find something simular for my phone. I really don't have the skills to adapt BitPim to my needs.... atleast not now.... Maybe I should just give it a shot and see what happens..... Keith Deepak Saxena wrote: On Sep 22 2003, at 12:52, keith smith was caught saying: > Hi, > > I have a motorola 120e wireless phone. No experience with this phone, but one of my coworkers has a Nokia
and you just use a set of custom 'AT' commands via the serial ports
to poke and peek the device.
