I can write a webpage that displays perfectly on Windows Internet Explorer and on Macintosh's Internet Explorer, but won't display worth a crap in any other browser because I have used all sorts of ill behaved feartures exclusive to MS Internet Exploder. A true test to the quality of the product is that you can write code that works in multiple vendors Java. Not just one vendor on multiple platforms. BTW: I'm not saying Sun's Java has this problem as I have only ever used under GNU/Linux. Just pointing out that the reasoning doesn't play out. -Derek
