--=-+uDGgo2hBBvAAiHYNKWj Content-Type: text/plain Content-Transfer-Encoding: quoted-printable There are two types of items on my list. Presentations and Demonstrations. I am classifying them separately because a presentation is more of a "lecture" on a deep level of how something works with a possible question answer session at the end. The demos are more of an interactive, audience driven "look" at a piece of software and it's features. I have made the schedule so the presentations are 45 minutes and the demonstrations 30 minutes. Currently because lack of participation we will hold both demonstrations and presentations in the "classroom". It is my understanding a projector will be provided. However, you will will need to bring your own machine (or provision through George to use one already there.) If we get last minute people stepping up for presentations we can bump the demos out of the "classroom" and onto the install floor, freeing up some 30 minute spots. If we get more "demonstrators" we can certainly just add them to the install floor. =20 10:15 - 11:00 (45 Min) PRESENTATION:=20 Gimp - Ted Gould - ted()gould!cx 11:00 - 11:30 (30 Min) DEMO:=20 KDE - Siri Amrit Kaur - tigerflag()despammed!com 11:30 - 12:15 (45 Min) PRESENTATION:=20 Knoppix - Austin Godber - godber()uberhip!com 12:15 - 12:45 (30 Min) DEMO:=20 GNOME - Michael Seidner - mikes()mdscom!com 12:45 - 13:30 (45 Min) PRESENTATION:=20 OPEN [Lunch Break] 13:30 - 14:00 (30 Min) DEMO:=20 KickStart - Robert Ambrose - rna()muttsoft!com 14:00 - 14:45 (45 Min) PRESENTATION:=20 Ruby - Chris Gehlker - chris()gccodefactory!biz 14:45 - 15:15 (30 Min) DEMO:=20 Gimp - Ted Gould - ted()gould!cx 15:15 - 16:00 (45 Min) PRESENTATION:=20 Licensing - Marcia Wilbur - aicra()well!com If the time listed does not work for you please contact me at derek@gnue.org immediately so I can shuffle the schedule. If seeing this list motivates you to demonstrate something or present on something please contact me immediately so I can add you to the schedule. :) If you have questions about equipment/facilities please contact George Gambill at ggambill@computer-guidance.com. I had an uncontrollable scheduling conflict pop up early this week and it looks like I will not be able to attend. Upon arrival please checkin with Hans or George to let them know you are there and ready to present/demo. I apologize in advance for not being more diligent in setting this part up and getting this list out sooner. Things have been hectic at work and home. --=20 Derek Neighbors GNU Enterprise http://www.gnuenterprise.org derek@gnue.org Was I helpful?
