Hello all: I'm looking forward to attending Eric's presentation on Myth TV tonight. It sounds like a great project! Not to detract from that, but I was wondering if it would be OK for my colleagues and I to take 5-10 minutes after his talk to talk about the current state of the Fab4Linux project. We have a beta out that is finally quite usable (the previous versions were in retrospect actually alphas.) Whether there's time for us to speak or not, we will have a few brochures and CD's to hand out. Anybody that tries the beta and gives us any kind of feedback gets a free copy when the release version comes out. For those of you that haven't heard our presentation before, Fab4Linux is not a new distribution (as its name might unintentionally imply) but a new type of keyboard-based user interface that can significantly improve your productivity if you're a GUI user. For those like me who like the quickness of typing in a command at the terminal, but have trouble remembering all those darn commands, it can be very helpful. In any case, I'm looking forward to seeing you guys this evening. Regards, Vaughn Treude
