I don't have a file or directory named /dev/lirc or /dev/lirc/0.  Should I
just create one, if not what should I do.  My entire problem is that I don't
have a /dev/lirc directory or driver...not sure what it is.

Should this directory or driver be there if I installed Lirc?  Did I miss
part of the installation?
