Yep - Outlook express opens up a metric buttload of imap connections at
once.  You need to increase the number of allowed connections.

Look in /etc/courier-imap (or wherever your imapd config is) and set
MAXDAEMONS to about 40.

This bit me many a time in the world of courier-imap.  :-)
