Cleanest way to do things would be to put it back in wherever it was recorded (assuming it was burned in a cd recorder) and press finalize there. I can't name any specific program in linux that will finalize a cd but I think I've seen the option about. You might look in k3b and xcdroast (gui frontends) or just at the cdrecord docs.
