I talked to the people from Thiz at LWE a couple of years back. Looked
snazzy, but I wasn't impressed that the stuff under the hood was in good
shape. Probably a good bet if you need 16-bit character support, though.

For normal use, it's probably just fine.

Also look at the Via boxen available via the wal-mart web site. Might be
better deals. Minimally, it should be more choice. They might also be
available with Mandrake pre-installed.

We can toss another distro on the boxen, though. Please post to AMUG that
they can bring boxen down to meetings for help installing GNU/Linux. It's
getting time for us to plan another InstallFest, as well.

BTW, if you go to AMUG meetings, please take copies of a few of the
GNU/Linux for PPC live CDs with you :). I would like to see what AMUGites
think of them.
