I know my syatem fairly well, but I am no guru that is for sure. I was able to connect with the oracle gui (after Install), I shut it down and have not been able to get it back up. I looked into Oracle 10g and I believe the install process is a bit easier, and they also have another option, called Instant client. That is all I need anyway. Apparently sql plus is available for linux.. So I am off to venture into the great world of super fast downloading large files ;).. -- 11:41pm up 73 days 6:54, 5 users, load average: 0.36, 0.16, 0.10 Linux linux 2.4.20-4GB #1 Mon Mar 17 17:54:44 UTC 2003 i686 unknown unknown GNU/Linux --------------------------------------------------- PLUG-discuss mailing list - PLUG-discuss@lists.plug.phoenix.az.us To subscribe, unsubscribe, or to change you mail settings: http://lists.PLUG.phoenix.az.us/mailman/listinfo/plug-discuss
