and don't forget who procurred the books and who
turned you on to Mepis.....if you want to have some
real fun try Kurumin, it's a Knoppix/Debian based
distro from Brazil, the fun part is installing it
because it's in Portuguese but if you're familiar with
the Knoppix hdinstall it's quite easy, comes with some
nice packages and utilities ...also the wife has
finally agreed to have me install Mepis on her
machine, when she leaves for bowling I'm going to
start defragging her windoze98 and getting it ready
for Linux....the deciding factor for her was the
Frozen Bubble game, she has been playing a windoze
version which has only 15 levels...just glad she is
going to start familiarizing herself with Linux 'cause
there will be no more upgrading to m$ once 98 becomes
obsolete....nuff said
